I fibbed a little. I really was planning on quitting the hats for tonight and working on my socks, but the yarn I wanted to use for my socks was also for a hat, and I needed to get a hat out of it first (so I knew there'd be enough yarn) before I started playing with the excess.You can slap my hand if you feel so inclined. Make sure it's my left hand though...I crochet with my right.
