Photorific!
I finally finished it while sitting through Dead Man Walking, and rushed to get it outside to get a picture.
Whaddya know? My batteries are dead. I came in and pouted for a few minutes then got a bright idea. My camera doubles as a web cam, so I thought maybe I could take a video feed and print screen on a frame I liked. It worked, with better results than I expected. So without further ado;
Here's my crocheted hook holder all closed up.

I used this pattern and elaborated a bit. For decoration it uses a cute little flower with leaves. I chose to make a star instead because I like stars much better. It also didn't call to do a border around the edges, but I thought it looked more finished. It was my first crocheted button as well
Here it is all opened up and showing off my hook collection.

There's also a beaded stitch marker that Hammie made for me, my matchbook style files that a fairy crochet mother sent me, scissors and my measuring tape from The Spinster.
Last but not least is the baby socks I've been working on. They're so cute I don't care that I don't have kids! I get to make them and not have to worry about washing them because they got spit up on them

I'm pretty proud of that case. I finally have something that I can store my hooks in without them rattling around and causing a racket every time I need to hunt for a hook. Plus, I put them in order so I know exactly where to find the one I need. Until I was putting them away I was completely unaware of the fact that I had 3 G hooks! Unbelievable lol.
I'm going to go take a short nap with my hubbie man and when I get up I think I'll work on crochet along squares
