Wednesday WIPs

Let's see...
My WIP's for the week haven't changed a whole lot from last week. I'm working on:
The kitchen set for my mom's new motor home. It's coming along nicely, but I've opted to put it down for the most part so I could work on...
The skirt from Interweave Knits crochet issue. The skirt is right on the cover, so if you click the link, you'll see what it looks like.
That's it for now, unless you want to throw in the 63 square CAL. I figure I'll be working on that for quite some time, so that's a continuous WIP.
My best friend and crafting pal Hammie is going to Hawaii for her ten year anniversary. I thought it would be cool to make her some summery clothes for the trip since she's going in June. I think I've created a monster because I'm so interested in crocheting clothes right now. Before I started reading patterns and actively seeking different kinds of things, I always thought that crochet was kind of limited to afghans and kitchen stuff.
Sadly, there aren't a ton of crocheted summery things. Most of the bikinis, shorts, sexy little tops and the like are done in knit. I guess I'll just have to do something about that.
I saw an article talking about making your own camisole and I think that I'll try to come up with a pattern for one. I'll start with a smaller one, which means Hammie gets my Frankenstein, whether it comes out good or bad muuaahahahahahaa!
I'm still hoping to make a purse, but I have a horrible habit of pushing my own projects aside. I'm sure most of the crochet community can relate. I'll get around to it eventually though.
