I've been crocheting like mad the past week, but because of Diaryland being down, I haven't been able to post anything.

I made this great shawl, by taking a pattern for a kerchief and continuing it until it was as big as I wanted. I used Red Heart in Grey Heather for the main body of the shawl, and then I edged it in shells made of Red Heart Symphony in Charcoal. It was really easy and it worked up fast fast fast!

Here's a pic of Hammie sporting it:

And I have bonus buttock material! Hammie was being adorable and flipped the shawl over her head and bared her bootay and I snagged a pic. Behold the ham!

I made this kickass hobo bag in burgundy and black. The picture sucks and you can't see the colors even though I re-took the picture 4 times, in the sun! It'll give you a basic idea though:

I really love it because it holds a ton of stuff and it's really comforable to carry. I think it's become my favorite new bag. I used Red Heart Burgundy, and Bernats SofteeChunky (or whatever it's called) for the black.

For the finale for today, I'll show you my coffee cup cozie. I found the pattern at Crochet Me (which by the way, you should check out if you've never been there) and I thought it was adorable. I found it quite some time ago, but I hadn't thought about doing it much. I was at Hammie's yesterday and saw that she'd picked up a package of 20 disposable coffee cups. I immediately snatched her from the house and took her to Wal-Mart in search of the perfect yarn. Some Jewelbox and Fun fur later, we were back to her house and I split so I could come home and get some stuff done. Last night after I finally sat down, I worked it up in about 20 minutes and loved the finished look. Again, not the best picture, but I love it. I used Caron Simply Soft in blue mint, and Bernat Eye Lash in Glam.

That's it for me for now. I've got a shawl from a free pattern that I'd like to get started for my lovely Isis, and I'll post the results when I finish.
