Drop the yarn and put your hands up!
The adventures of a maniacal crafter

She liked it!

Yesterday was most definitely nice. Not only did my mother love her doily, but I got these priceless pictures of her:

I couldn't have wished for a better reaction; I'm so glad she liked it!

Now that that fiasco is done, I'm at a bit of a loss of what to do next. I should really start working on Paul's birthday present, but I have no clue what I should do! He loves medieval stuff, celtic stuff, tribal stuff. I found a Celtic knot square, but I don't know if I have the ability to finish it in time. I'll have to do some deep digging now that it can have my undivided attention...then I have to buy the yarn on the sly so he doesn't know I'm doing something for him.

I've been *gasp*! learning how to knit. I haven't completed a project yet, but I've got the basics down. I'm working on a sunglass case to match my crocheted purse I made (which I just realized I haven't taken a pic of it yet!) I'll be sure to post it when I finish.

I'm off to search for a Paul gift while it's fresh in my head.
